Brief Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI
Upon arrival Noi Bai International airport, you will be welcomed by Vietexquisite Travel guide and driver then transfer to hotel in city for check in. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi
DAY 2 : HANOI CITY TOUR – LAO CAI
After breakfast, start the tour with Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, “House on stilt” and Presidential Palace, next stops are One Pillar Pagoda and the 900-year old Temple of Literature. Have lunch & visit the fascinating Ethnology Museum. After that, you will enjoy one hour cyclo tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Free at leisure until time to transfer to Railway station for overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train (Sharing 4-berth cabin)
DAY 3: LAO CAI – SAPA
The train arrives at Lao Cai train station and private minivan await and transfer us to Sapa. Once at Sapa, check-in hotel and after breakfast at the hotel restaurant. In the afternoon, take a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the H’mong hill tribes minority people. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 4: SAPA – LAO CAI
Following breakfast, take time to explore the Sapa market and then set out on our 3-4 hours trek through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to H’mong, and Dzay people. Have a picnic lunch on the way to Ta Van village. Back to Sapa for the limousine bus back to Hanoi. Check in & overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 5 : HANOI - HALONG BAY
Early breakfast at hotel then depart to Halong . Embark at the cruise at around noon and enjoy your lunch. After lunch, continue to discover Halong Bay – the UNESCO World Heritage Site . Each cruise will have different schedule for and you may visit a beautiful cave, have some swimming or other activities. Dinner and overnight on board
DAY 6: HALONG BAY - HANOI – HUE
An early wake up will give you a chance to try the Taichi class or just enjoy sunrise on the bay. Take part in other activities of the 2nd day while the boat cruise back to the habour. Disembark the cruise & your driver take you back to Hanoi. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue. Check in & overnight in Hue
DAY 7: HUE SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, we start with a visit to the Citadel, containing the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City, the Emperor’s private residence. We also visit the Imperial Museum, The Tu Hieu Pagoda and the vibrant Dong Ba Riverside market. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 8: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN
Have breakfast, board a private boat for cruising Perfume River, visit Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda), the ornate Minh Mang’s tomb. Then we will travel over the Hai Van pass, stop in Danang to visit Cham Museum and handicraft villages on the foot of Marble Mountain before Hoi An. Arrive Hoi An, check in & overnight at hotel in Hoi An
DAY 9: HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
We enjoy a half-day walking tour visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Following the tour there will be free time to shop or relax. Overnight in Hoi An
DAY 10: HOI AN – DANANG - HO CHI MINH CITY
Transfer to Danang Airport and take the one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where we transfer directly to our centrally located hotel. Check in hotel & Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 11: CU CHI TUNNELS - HO CHI MINH CITY
After breakfast at your hotel, we will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Lucnh at a local restaurant. Start the afternoon city tour with the Reunification Palace; enjoy a visiting the War Remnants Museum then visit the Notre Dame Cathedral & Old Post Office. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh
DAY 12: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA
Leave Ho Chi Minh City for lush My Tho where we cruise on a private boat through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, have lunch in a local restaurant. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, a combination of Asian and European pagoda before heading Can Tho city. Overnight in Can Tho
DAY 13: MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH CITY
Wake up early to the sounds of the Mekong River welcoming a new day, the boat continues to join in the Cai Rang floating market – one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta. After sampling local fruits, our guide will escort the guests back to the hotel through myriad canals. Get back and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
DAY 14: HO CHI MINH CITY - DEPARTURE
Enjoy your free time for souvernir shopping until transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Tour end, have a safe flight and hope to see you again
