DAY 1: ARRIVAL - SIEM REAP BY EVENING FLIGHT

Breakfast at hotelVisit to Roluos Group: Lo Lei, Preah Ko and Ba Kong templesLunch not includedIn the afternoon, we will visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Preah Khan temple, built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improves this situation. Breakfast at hotelVisit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): The South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch not includedVisit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Pre Rup Temple.Dinner not included and night at hotelDAY 4: SIEM REAP – TREKKING TO PHNOM KULEN
Breakfast at hotelWe depart early from Siem Reap to take advantage of the cooler part of the day. Kulen Mountain sits 50km from Siem Reap and our starting point is approximately 70km from Siem Reap, on the journey out you will pass through local villages and beautiful countryside. The trip takes over one hour. The hike commences at the very base of Kulen Mountain the first section winds its way to a mountain track. Once we reach the mountain track the path narrows to allow one hiker at a time. Depending on the time of year large trees are flowering filling the air at the base of the mountain with their perfume. As the climb continues you will see banana plantations amongst the rocky outcrops and local villagers may pass you as they carry their baskets of wares up the mountain to sell. Your guide will point out trees and plants along the way and short stops make the climbing easier. As the elevation rises there are great views out over the countryside. At around 10am we reach our destination, a small monks retreat, with lovely views over the valley. It is here that we will stop and enjoy morning tea before exploring the area and visiting the carving of the reclining Buddha.You are welcome to spend time here either relaxing and soaking up the views, or meditating and enjoying this very special place. When you are ready we commence the drive to Khmer local villages. Check in at Khmer House and settle for the night there with them.DAY 5: TREKKING TO PHNOM KULEN – SIEM REAP

Breakfast at the hotelThis morning, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and currant. Breakfast at the hotelVisit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Then continue your visit at visit to the the National Museum, this is one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems. The Museum is instantly recognizable with its warm red terracotta and its gracefully cured roof topped by dozens of guardian nagas. It was designed in Khmer style in 1917 by famed French architect Georges Groslier & Ecole Des Arts Cambodgiens. Lunch not includedVisiting the notorious Killing Fields “Choeung Ek" 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of who first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979). Continue your visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.Dinner not included and night at hotelDAY 9: PHNOM PENH – KIRIRUM NATIONAL PARKS
After breakfast, we will drive up to Kirirum National ParkThe park extends over the eastern part of the Cardamom Mountains. It is located 112 km from Phnom Penh off National Highway 4 on the road to Sihanoukville. Lying at 675m (2,215 ft) above sea level, Kirirom was Cambodia's first officially designated national park. It contains many footpaths through the forests with a number of small lakes and waterfalls and was once used as a refuge by the Khmer Rouge. The way up will allow you to witness the Modern Pagoda, the great Cambodian Pine Trees, the smooth lawn of green grass, and the cool fresh air from the forest.Check in at Vkirirum Resort – www.vkirirum.comLunch at resort restaurantIn the afternoon, we will take a biking tour around the resort and forests to see some interesting flowers and lake. Breakfast at hotelDrive up to see an Old pagoda via old trails and the best view of pine trees. Walk along this small temple. Talking to residence there and drive on the great water reserved. Drop off the vans and start trekking up the small mountains about 3.50 kms. You will enjoy the best view of the lake seeing behind the pine trees which make you feel this was in other part of European world.You are required to use suitable trekking shoes for this part of the trip.This part of the trip will take you through the small flora, wooden bridge across the stream, forests, bushes, and the big straight trees, before you make to the Old King Palace on the top. Let’s take a short break to enjoy cold water and best views of the lake and forests down below before we drive on to the Waterfall.Travel back to Phnom Penh city.
