DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, Vietsense travel’s team will pick you up from the Airport and then transfer to Hanoi center for check in the hotel.In the afternoon, enjoy one hour cyclo tour through the maze of bustling streets that make up Hanoi’s Old Quarter, then visit the colorful local markets where we meet stall holders and talk about their food and learn about local culinary. Today, Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay, a collection of almost 2000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars in the Tonkin Gulf. After breakfast, enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Following destination is to Ho Chi Minh City, a dynamic city of 6.5 million that boasts Vietnam’s most impressive downtown skyline. In the afternoon you have the option of a private city tour of famous landmarks like the Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and Reunification Palace. or traveling out of town to see the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, where thousands of Vietnam soldiers lived during the Vietnam War.
