Mai Chau–Pu Luong Honeymoon Tour

Morning: Upon your arrival at Hanoi, depart to Mai Chau which is famed as the peaceful, green, and glamorous valley paradise found in the west of the capital city. Morning: Go for a drive to Moc Chau Plateau, about 50km from Mai Chau. This Plateau is, for sure, very scenic and peaceful. When you get there, the first sight of the magical tea plantation will bewitch you. After that, head to the local restaurant for lunch.

After the lunch time: you come to see Ba Phach Village which is the authentic and spectacular home to the Mong people. Their traditional houses and different cultural identity can make you curious to learn. Also, try communicating and interacting with the villagers who are known for their hospitality and heartfelt smile.

On the return route to Mai Chau, stop by Suoi Lin attraction which has the highlights of fabulous tea plantation and Thai village.

Evening: Have dinner at the Mai Chau Ecolodge

Have breakfast at hotel. Then continue the trip by driving on the road along Ma River to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. 

Get to Pu Luong Nature Reserve area. It might be also the lunchtime at the resort, so have lunch and check in your accommodation. Later is your free time to discover the charming retreat which stands out for the panoramic sightseeing and the quiet environment.

14:30: The on-foot exploration covers the highlights of the fairy rice fields and the captivating water wheels which turn to be the awesome backgrounds for the “so-deep” photographs. Then, you arrive at the house of the local fishermen who offer the short boat trip with the available gear. Boating on the bamboo raft is the fantastic channel to discover the calm water world and the stunning river view. The stop point is the nice Tan Lap Bridge in which you disembark to be ready for the drive back to Pu Luong Retreat.

Have dinner at Pu Luong Retreat and stay overnight there.

Begin the early discovery by descending into the stunning village and walking around the marvelous rice fields, just nearby the Retreat. Then, trek through the narrow and concealed paths amidst the lush vegetation.

Keep walking toward the bottom of the valley so that you see the local farms, pristine rice fields, traditional villages, rivers, ponds, and mountains. The fascinating scenery makes you trek full of excitement. Keep going until you reach the beautiful place to have a picnic lunch. After lunch, come to unwind at the nearby river.
